AHLI UNITED BANK (EGYPT) SUPPORTS FUTURE GENERATIONS
Ahli United Bank (Egypt) is sponsoring a performance of the longest running Broadway show in history, The Phantom of the Opera. All the proceeds from this musical will go to the “contribute in building 100 schools” project, which was launched in 2006 under the auspices of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak. Featuring 120 students from the Modern Sciences and Arts University (MSA), the production of the musical is due to be staged at the Cairo Opera House and will run for a four day period between 20th and 23rd July.

AHLI UNITED BANK ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER RESULTS
Ahli United Bank (Egypt) has announced its Q1 financial results for 2008. The bank posted a net profit increase of EGP 63.8 million, an increase of 100.7% on the same period last year. Net interest income came in at EGP 47.4 million, an 11.4% increase over the same period in 2007 and net operating income at EGP 97.3 million increased by 60.9% compared to the same period 2007.
