Coronavirus (COVID-19) and your mortgage
We are here to help clients who may be affected by coronavirus.
Ahli United Bank (UK) PLC (the “Bank”) supported customers who were experiencing difficulties in making their mortgage payments as a result of COVID-19 by providing the option of a taking
out a payment holiday (a “Payment Holiday”) on their mortgage contract. This allowed clients to take a break from making their contractual mortgage payments.
If you have used the scheme and are still worried about resuming your mortgage payments, then we would urge you to contact us as soon as possible. We might be able to help by taking your individual circumstances into account to try to find a solution or arrange a new mortgage payment plan that suits you.

If you have a complaint or concern about the Bank’s Services, please contact your Relationship Manager in the first instance or if you prefer you may call +44 (0)20 7487 6500 and speak to the Bank’s Compliance Department.
If the Bank is unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction by the close of business on the third Business Day after it is received, the Bank will provide you with a copy of its leaflet entitled “Customer Complaints”, which provides information as to how the Bank administers complaints including its timeframes for responding or updating you with the progress of its investigation. The Bank is committed to investigating any complaints fully and fairly in line with the regulatory requirement of “Treating Customers Fairly”.
Formal complaints should be made, preferably in writing, to the Compliance Department. If you are not satisfied with the Bank’s handling of your complaint you may have the right to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). The FOS is an organisation set up by law to give consumers and certain other entities (such as small businesses) a free and independent service for resolving disputes with financial services providers.
